Paddock and Longwood Family practice is a General Practice Partnership, with an open list for all patients residing within our Practice area. (map can be found on our website, within practice leaflet). We have an active patient participation group with which we work closely with to deliver medical care to meet the health needs of to our community.
Paddock and Longwood Family Practice is a GMS Practice (General Medical Service) which offers a wide range of primary care services for the diagnosis and prevention of disease. We help our patients to manage their health needs and help to prevent illness. We carry out screening and promote general health and wellbeing. We endeavour to support and represent a patient’s best interests to ensure they receive the most appropriate available health or social care.
We are closely linked to secondary health services and integrate with other healthcare services and neighbouring practices. We are members of the GHCCG which enables us to commission services to meet the needs of our community.
We arrange hospital admissions and make choose and book referrals,to other services available and link with secondary and community services. Our computer system “Systmone” allows us to share important information to and from other healthcare professionals all involved in the treatment of the patient.
Paddock and Longwood Family Practice are involved with the education of undergraduate and postgraduate training of doctors. We invest in the training of our practice staff both clinical and non clinical.
